  2. +rcd 5 speed. This car has the 722.6 5 G Tronic. Only manufacturer stupid enough to use 4 speeds in 2008 was GM.

  3. rcd That's not true. MB hasn't used 4 speed autos since the mid 90s. You're probably driving your car in C mode which uses gears 2,3,4 and 5. When in S mode it moves off in 1st gear and uses all 5 ratios. My 2006 C280 4matic has a 5 speed auto. The odd time I use the tiptronic mode it even shows what gear I'm in on the readout on the gauge cluster. Either a 6MT, 5 speed auto or 7 speed auto (RWD) were used since the mid 90s on various models.

  4. "Put the in-laws in". Lol that's a very specific situation but yeah these cars are really comfy and have that rock solid feeling you get from a Benz.

  5. Who cares what other people think. I don't live life according to other people's "standards". I would take this Benz because of it's conservative styling, spacious interior, comfy/quiet ride and it has a refined powertrain. I do like BMWs but here in North America it's hard to drive them the way they're meant to be driven because too many cops out on the road and restrictive speed limit.
