  1. Because we can't ignore history. GM has screwed buyers for years with subpar products and good thing the American Government decided to bail out GM and Chrysler because if it were up to me I'd let them burn. Old Cadillacs from the 30s had better build quality than Rolls Royces but since then GM has made plastic crap and only until recently have they started to product mildly better products. Oh and BTW tell me how you feel about the ignition lock fiasco where GM realized it would be cheaper to payout the families of the deceased versus fixing the problem. I hate that too big to fail mentality.
