  1. I still don't get the point of this particular model. Either you go for the IS200T or the IS350 if you want the more powerful option. A V6 Camry will starch this IS300 and yes this car is more luxurious but if the power plant is lacking then what's the point?

  2. curseknight5 I wasn't impressed with the IS 350 I test drove a few years ago. I did drive the previous generation but the cramped interior (I'm not even a big guy) was terrible and the handling wasn't even all that. Shit a C300 Sport handled better despite the vague steering feel and felt far more solid and significant than the Lexus. It felt more Toyota than Lexus which in this case isn't a good thing.

  3. curseknight5 Yeah but it's still down on performance and fuel economy compared to others in the class. It should have just been the IS200T and IS350.

  4. curseknight5 How much better can the newer generation be? We've had MBs in our family since the 80s and I've owned 2 of them and they've been consistent throughout the years in terms of performance, solidity and ride/handling.

  5. curseknight5 Lexus cars aren't exactly cheap. They will be less problematic in the long run that's for sure but the parts are as expensive (at least now) as MB, BMW and Audi parts.
