  2. That's an interesting way to put it. People brag about Hyundai's resale value but I call BS despite the "awards" they've won. I see used Hyundais on the market going for a lot less than what they sold for and we're talking newer Hyundais that are CPO at the dealership. 2011 Genesis V8 with tech package with 64,000kms for $21,000. That's not resale value.

  3. Matthew Lee You're the same guy that called me Badonkadonk aren't you? I know you love my YT name. Hyundai is good like I said before but not great. Would I buy an Accent, Sonata or Tucson? Absolutely but I will get a German or Japanese luxury car. They are a cut above and really I can justify the extra price because they've proven themselves in that segment of the market. There's nothing wrong with that, I guess Hyundai/Kia buttlickers can't take a bit of constructive criticism. One clown said his Kia Optima SX Turbo can outdo a BMW 335i...

  4. bobby brown First of all I never said one country manufactures better cars than the other so I don't know where you got that from. All cars have their place in the market. Also, you're 100% right I can't afford a $45,000 car but then again I'm 23 and have only been working full time for the past 2 years but me not being able to afford a car at that price point doesn't matter. I'll go off the previous gen Hyundai Genesis; I see plenty for sale for less than quarter of what they cost new and the leather seats are worn to hell (lost the matte look) and the design hasn't aged gracefully like other brands would. Also, I've read tons of complaints about the Hyundai Elantra with parts wearing out prematurely. Companies are only as strong as their weakest link so there's some work needed in the Hyundai/Kia lineup.

  5. If they hold up well after several years then I'll be convinced. Hyundai has done a great job with their compact cars and SUVs and continue to improve but for a car of this price there has to be some real world testing done here before I can group it with an MB, BMW, Audi or Lexus.
