  1. The Big 3 screwed themselves by going strictly for SUVs, pickups and sports cars instead of offering up at least a compact and mid size sedan at a reasonable price. I work as a Service Advisor at Ford and I tell all the Ford Fusion customers to keep hanging onto their cars especially if their car has the 2.5 I4 in it. Right now people are way in over their heads with payments for vehicles they can't realistically afford even if they were making 1.5X their current income.
