  1. Great test. In Dubai they stick to the simple 50/50 method and the vehicles survive 120F temps no problem. The key is a good cooling system with enough capacity and a strong fan. Running a lower thermostat helps too.

  2. Nope. Oil needs to be as thin as possible to flow everywhere (through turbos if equipped and into small oil passages) especially in cold weather but also lubricate. The viscosity itself is one thing but the additives within the oil are even more important as they do the heavy lifting when it comes to withstanding things like fuel dilution, heat/cold cycles, turbo heat and driving style.

  3. You are a legend. I don't own a diesel truck or tractor (and I'm not sure I ever will) but the production value, attention to fair reporting and accuracy and taking a totally objective stance during testing is award worthy! Keep up the excellent work.
