  2. This is what irks me about Toyota. Yes, they have reliability on their side but what is so hard about adding a few more features like a better camera system or better powertrain tuning? Either have a solid camera system or don't have it at all because a phone camera from 2005 isn't good implementation. Also, given the price they charge (which never goes down even after Toyota has long made their money on the generation) is ridiculous. Why is it a 12 year old design like the Sequoia still costs $70k+ when Toyota has long made their money on them. At $56k I can buy a V8 powered F150 with the FX4 package and do some light mods to the wheels/tires and suspension and I not only have a good offroader but a really nice on road driving experience all while having more features that are smartly implemented.

  3. Yep. My Uncle got a new Kia Sorento V6 EXL for far less than a Toyota Highlander and it drives fantastic. Smooth, quiet and the powertrain is very refined. As for reliability Kia and Hyundai are doing very well. I just can't understand how Toyota can justify $60k on a freakin family SUV.
