  1. Why anyone would buy this over a Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot (6AT of course), Acura MDX or Toyota Highlander is beyond me. This vehicle is 10+ years too late to the segment and uses 2 older motors (the VR6 is from 2005) and still tops out at $50k+ when spec'd with the R Line. On top of that both motors use DFI and unlike the newer Audis or Lexus vehicles they still suffer from bad carbon buildup issues. Newer DFI motors also have port injectors to mitigate the carbon buildup. This needs a 300+HP motor and a diesel offering.

  2. Yeah. They started making this motor since 2005. The only difference between this one and the older ones is that this one has start/stop.
