This has been going on for years and unfortunately given the way the laws work, the power of the police and the lack of response from corporate the customers are left out in the cold.

@AK-rx6hv Many of them had documentation but Hertz modified the contract on their end so there's a discrepancy. Unfortunately, the police and courts side with Hertz's documentation and the customer is left in the dark. This was identified in some of the case files pertaining to these incidents.
