  1. Subaru, at this point, is depending on it's former glory to sell their cars today. The fact that they don't offer a turbo motor on their Forester, don't have many hybrid options, have CVTs and laggy infotainment systems make these bottom of the barrel. CVTs have their place in cheaper sub compact vehicles because at the least it keeps the motors running at a low RPM at highway speeds but as for every other vehicle just put a good 8 speed unit in it. Aisin makes great transmissions.
