I'm glad to see animals being able to run and play. Too often animals are seen as vanity and get stuffed in someone's purse as it's some sort of toy.

@richardcastaway7683 And he was spitting facts. She's a denier and in some ways downplays the severity of everything. That's is a toxic behavior. Good on the guy helping the dog and putting that girl in that place. Spill blood? Yeah, your period blood.

@WhatIsMyLif3 She was being a denier and an enabler to her abusive boyfriend. The dog rescuer was right in putting her in her place.

My cat was a former feral cat. He went from being a growly, hissy cat to giving me and everyone in the house headbutts and rolling over and showing his belly when you walk up to him. He's now almost 7 and a total baby.

Definitely one of the most beautiful cats I've seen.

Proof that some things are just meant to be. Great story.

Not hard to find. My neighbor found a litter of 4 kittens. He kept 3 and we took 1 and none of us were ever cat people and very quickly we can't imagine our life without these fluffy little creatures.

That was us when we took in a feral kitten with the intention of giving it away in a few days. Well it's been 7 years so yeah, we never got around to that. He went from a spicy hissy kitten to a big 20 pound fluff ball that headbutts us in the face and goes for walks with us just like a dog and we got so attached so fast that our home is his forever home.

This man is a hero. Also, I love how we ALL are guilty of baby talking to animals.

Amazing story. Amazing woman and yay for Paxton.

Great progress. Once he rubbed against your leg he basically owns you.

Every story on The Dodo is great but this one takes the cake. I see moths differently from this video alone. They're beautiful creatures.

I wish more pet owners would heed what is being said in this video. I have a orange and white tabby that was a feral kitten and the two most important things with that cat in the beginning was understanding to give the cat space and be patient. My cat now rolls over and allows belly rubs and headbutts me like 30 times in the morning but as always, give them time and space and they'll come to you as they please.

Oh shut up. Walking a cat on leash does nothing to harm them. I walk my cat on a leash and he's fine.

Yep that's how I found my orange and white cat too. He was around 2 months old, scared, hissy, underweight but so weak he just collapsed into my hands. 2 vet visits later, some good organic cat food and lots of pets he turned into a total spunky cat and a total baby. He quickly grew into a 20lb spoiled cat. That was 7 years ago, can't imagine life without him.

That's how I have my current cat. We found him when he was around 8 weeks old scared, malnourished and covered in mud and fleas. He was scared, hissy and scratchy but we managed to get him (with gloves) and take him home to give him a bath and food. We then took him to the vet and with some care and patience he started to trust us. Now, he's a 20lb fat and spoiled cat that gives everyone big headbutts, has around 50 different toys and eats lots of fish, turkey, chicken, duck and beef.

You know you're approaching things right when a cat trusts you. My cat, who is now 5 years old, was initially a feral kitten so he was vicious but with a little patience and lots of positive re-enforcement with treats he ended up becoming a spoiled baby who pretty much rolls over and wants belly rubs when he sees anyone.

Leo is such an awesome kitty and so is his hooman.

Women might not find men that are like this attractive but anybody who can show compassion for animals and care for them are good people in my book. Goes to show that with a little bit of patience and effort animals make a complete 180.
