  1. I never understood why manufacturers insist on not using a dipstick. Sensors fail... Dipsticks don't. It also doesn't help when BMW motors (especially ones like the N63 or S63) use oil so you want to be on top of checking the level.

  2. That may be the dumbest answer because even German car mechanics say it's stupid. Also, why did Mercedes bring back the dipstick when they stopped using them in the early 2000s? It seems to me just because the Germans do something outlandish the fanboys make excuses for them yet if Lexus were to dare do stuff like that they'd get blasted.
