@TYPICALTRYHARD_ Right but the manufacturers force customers to pay for it as part of a package. I remember asking if I can get a car without a backup camera (nobody ever needs that) or if they can program out the backup camera when I shift into reverse. I was told no so now I had to pay for a feature I didn't even want. All I care for in a car is a good safety package, stereo and AC.

@Localtraveler2376 So what's the answer for when Teslas hit vehicles that are pulled over on the side of the highway? Plenty of emergency vehicles have been hit by Teslas with the FSD activated. Also, the tech does not take in to account moving over one lane (as required by law) when emergency vehicles are on the side of the road so again how are the roads a lot safer?

@Localtraveler2376 Actually the media is pro FSD so not sure where you're coming from with "stop believing what the media tells you" bit. This particular incident occurred in several states which resulted in drivers getting killed sometimes (that's concerning enough). Things need to change in how it's marketed to the public and laws surrounding it.

@Localtraveler2376 Look up the NHTSA investigation to crashes involving Teslas. Over 400 crashes occurred where Teslas crashed into emergency vehicles (Police, Fire, EMS) Of those 400 crashes there were 13 deaths. This led to Tesla recalling 2 million cars and revising the literature around autopilot and FSD. Even then the issue continues to happen.
