@kensmith280 If the motor cut out it's a silent glider. People aren't usually worrying about a friggin plane crashing into them when they are on a dock laying down.

Terrible tragedy. The pilot needs to go to jail. I wonder if the pilot was doing a buzz by to show off and ended up crashing. Before the rich kids used ATVs and lifted pickups but now this might be their toy of choice.

@surfsup4019 It's just that Lake Scogug, while narrow in some spots, has plenty of water to land on. Why land near a dock? A kid is dead.
