  1. I would avoid until VW sorts their stupid carbon buildup problems. Some manufacturers put a second set of port injectors so the intake valves get sprayed with fuel therefore cleaning them but VW is yet to do so. Audi (I know part of VAG) does that in their newest motors and so does Lexus with their 3.5 motor.
