This car didn't need to exist though. The Z4 35i M Sport would have been (and actually is) the better car to get. A Toyota is awesome because it's a for sure thing and it's reliable to boot in any capacity. Toyota has proven to be a great automaker so why half ass such an iconic vehicle name plate by going to another manufacturer? It's almost as if Toyota didn't believe in themselves anymore so they had to go to BMW. If that was their approach they should have never gone ahead with reviving the Supra nameplate.

@poorcomboz3577 What no problem? M3s at that mileage have had full cooling system overhauls (piping, radiator and water pump) and crank rod bearings done for sure. The bodies hold up well, there's no denying that but they need far more mechanical maintenance.

I would still buy the Z4 because it pushes out more power from the factory and the fact that it has BMW and developed for BMW parts in it. I would buy a 90s Supra because it's an actual Toyota. This could have been the best car on the market but Toyota totally dropped the ball on this one.
