  1. Mechanical beauty. You have to blame the consumers and the various Governments around the world for the fact that BMW will never make such a powertrain again. The Governments are so focused on the "environment" and fuel economy it has forced automakers to go to smaller displacement motors with turbochargers for more economy. Also, the consumers get brainwashed into thinking the previous motors were so bad that they actually support the stupid green movement and agree with that. I hope everyone who owns these V10 M5s/M6s preserve them as much as they can.
