  1. I have no concern about the oil but I'm curious how the filter will hold up for 20k miles. I change the oil in my MB as per the manufacturer recommendation of 10k miles or once a year and I use the recommended fleece oil filter. The filter is perfectly intact upon removal but I wonder if a filter like such can really hold up over 20k miles.

  2. That's probably a good thing. Small engines that have forced induction and are producing quite a bit of power for their small displacement means they're under more stress than an NA or larger motor producing less HP per liter. If the oil can hold up in higher stressed motors then it will hold up in a standard motor.
