Unless anyone can prove that the outcome would have been less severe if police didn't chase then they did no wrong. The issue here is if the cops did nothing people would complain.   12. Brampton post 2015 is now becoming a scary city. What was once a quiet suburban city it has now become a hub for major crimes. Always a certain demographic in Brampton too.

  13. Unfortunate situation. I doubt the driver is at fault because it's not like they can drive the truck up on a driveway or yard where a toddler would be. I wonder if the toddler ran out onto the road and got struck. If so the bigger question is where were the parents? On their phone like usual?

  26. Imagine getting paid well north of 6 figures, have amazing benefits, 30 to 60 days per year of vacation and a big fat pension at the end of it all and still want more. If it were up to me they'd all be fired with severance of course and replaced with employees who actually want to work. Private sector workers work much harder for less and no pension.

  41. We have cars that are more capable and safer than every YET there are more crashes. Goes to show the lack of education and giving newcomers licenses isn't working out. Every time there is a crash there is one common denominator and to give you a clue here's a word: "Brampton".

  42. Well all of Brampton will be there (think international students and massive families). It's a known thing that Brampton residents like to block emergency vehicles for fun and they dabble in lots of crime. Niagara has been compromised by those types so I understand here.

  45. If I have to stand up to order at a counter don't expect a tip. If anyone goes into the restaurant business expecting a tip especially now then quit while you're ahead. Tipping culture is a problem in North America, not anywhere else.

  47. There would have been a crash any way and the DRPS would have been under scrutiny any way. The cops tried to stop a problematic criminal who by the way was an international student that should have been deported. It's crazy to me how many people are blaming the cops instead of the criminal.

  48. There are couples out there frustrated that they can't conceive then on the flip side there are parents that care to little that they just kill their kids casually. How much you want to bet the mother didn't forget her phone though?
