  1. Most people don't even know how a car works beyond starting it and putting it in drive. The worst are the Brampton drivers who either go to these mickey mouse shops or attempt to do the swap over themselves. Pretty much every wheel incident that happened in the past few years were all from Brampton based drivers.

  18. The NDP need to shut it because they are piggybacking on this to garner votes. Also, I bet if that kid were "trans" he'd get the best of care but since he's not he was ignored. Sad that everyone but the "certain types" are ignored during the month of June. I feel for the parent and I can only imagine how scared and vulnerable the boy felt in his last moments.

  24. Yep. Saw 2 female Peel Regional Officers directing traffic at a crash scene a few days ago. They couldn't have been more than 115lbs soaking wet and stood at about 5 feet tall. This is what quota hiring does. I doubt they could take down a 200lb angry man.

  30. And here we see the Government's Liberal policies at work. Criminals run the show because they know there are no consequences when they get caught. The weak kneed legal system just lets people back out and what most don't realize is that also undermines the police. The police do the dangerous job of investigating and apprehending the suspects then the judge lets the same suspects walk. No wonder crime is at an all time high.

  36. Actually they were instructed to keep going as they were still within their jurisdiction. Also, by having their lights on it helped warn at least a few drivers. Another thing is if the criminal was okay with robbing, threatening multiple people with a knife and then driving on the wrong side of the highway then it wouldn't matter if the police were pursuing or not. Those criminals were hell bent on getting away.

  38. The issue here is the criminals doing bad things. The cops were desperately trying to put an end to the chase. Perhaps they could have called it off but based on how the robbers were driving they were a serious liability. On top of that if the cops didn't react people would have been pissed. Now the cops did something and people are still pissed.

  45. The biggest issue surrounds the "recent" arrivals who are behaving poorly. Human trafficking, theft (auto, property and break ins) is up, SAs are up and don't forget all the car/truck crashes. Brampton is a petri dish of that type of crime. Basically the GTA becomes way safer if we tackle the problems in Brampton.
