  1. Actually they were instructed to keep going as they were still within their jurisdiction. Also, by having their lights on it helped warn at least a few drivers. Another thing is if the criminal was okay with robbing, threatening multiple people with a knife and then driving on the wrong side of the highway then it wouldn't matter if the police were pursuing or not. Those criminals were hell bent on getting away.

  4. How would they pull all of that off in 15 minutes in a fluid situation during a busy hour? Instead of blaming the cops blame the criminals.

  5. Unless someone can prove that the police involvement contributed to this they won't get into trouble. The suspects were already being super reckless by threatening people with knives at the LCBO before the police even got involved so it's safe to say that they were planning on driving recklessly to get away.
