When it's up 50% versus what it should be given the current oil prices because the majority of the cost are taxes brought on by the feds it doesn't mean anything if it even goes down by 10%. Raising gas prices is basically raising the price of everything else and who gets hit the hardest? The regular people who need to get from place to place.
