  1. Just got done with kidney stone number 2. I got them despite regularly drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water per day and both times it was via my left side kidney. Funny enough it was when the stone was going through the kidney and down the ureter it was the most painful (To the point I was blacking out and vomiting). Passing it wasn't too bad as they broke up while in the bladder and I passed them in small bits. Uncomfortable but not painful thankfully but while it's grinding it's way through the kidney and ureter it is excruciatingly painful.
