How is that even possible and schools haven't even been open for a week? It takes at least 7 days before symptoms start showing up and the virus sets itself up so it's not the school system that's responsible for this.

Saw video where the suspects were being taken into custody. Let's just say they are of the darker of the types.

I guarantee you they'll fund a new road if it were in Ukraine or any other country they are funneling money through. How can anyone be okay with this?

If you are going to live in Canada but go back to the war torn country that you escaped from then you should just stay there. It shouldn't be on Canada, the country which graciously let you in, to have to come get you.
13
That was the concern since 2020.

Going to be a bunch of international students from Brampton there.

@FakeSchrodingersCat That's what they want you to think. The same way they want you to think that things like the lockdowns, vax mandates and Arrive Can were good things. Federal government should have the entire country's best interest and divesting in road networks is a bad idea.

If he was a Canadian he'd be living here.

Except that never gets invested in.

+Alan Klughammer Yeah this seems a bit iffy to me though it's possible. My Aunt had a lemon MB ML350 Bluetec and it spent 26 days at the dealership for multiple electrical and airmatic issues mind you they were obvious to the techs at the dealership and to my Aunt who owned it. One call to MB of Canada though (on my recommendation) and the vehicle was purchased back, replaced the SUV with an exactly spec'd example, got a $5000 pay waiver and they extended the factory warranty from 4 years/80k to 6 years/120k. Overall a positive ending for my Aunt but as for this lady there would need to be more proof of stalling issues.

I'm thinking it may have been a shotgun and when they fire the bullets spread.

What's your suggestion then? More carbon taxes?
1
I bet the at fault party is from Brampton.

Who cares? A bunch of rich people paid to do something normal folk can't and look how everyone pulls out all of the stops for them. When indigenous people go missing is there any search? Nope.

I simply say "no" however one time a cashier at Staples tried to shame me (using the think of the children angle) so I whipped out two $50 bills and told her "if you're so passionate about donating then here, match my $100 dollars with your own $100 and we got a deal". She stayed quiet afterwards and I reported her to the manager and head office. Asking for donations isn't a problem. Shaming or trying to convince the customers beyond nicely asking is unacceptable.

There is 0 reason to blame the Harper government given that he hasn't been in office for over 8 + years. Also, funny how there is NEVER money for Canadian infrastructure but tons of money for foreign aid and infrastructure building. Basically the government is using Canadian tax payer money as the bank and the foreign countries as a casino. Vote them OUT.
1
The politicians who jet off all over the world should. Also, India and China should pay since they are the biggest polluters. Stop looking for a way to tax the Canadian tax payers more.
1
Shame them and plaster their pictures everywhere. If they want to hide behind a phone with a spoofed number they should be exposed once caught. 1 month jail time for every person they scammed. Now I've never fell for stuff like that and can spot it from a mile away but there are overly trusting people out there that don't know any better and they should not be punished for that quality by those who don't desire to go out and find honest work. Canada, stop protecting our criminals and empowering them. What a country, commit a crime and be protected better than an actual victim of crime.

People still died so I don't understand how this was a success. Also I find it suspicious that the ship suddenly and conveniently lost power and managed to veer specifically into the bridge support.
1
@dylanc9174 Okay so state your solution. I'm open to the conversation.

Stupidity knows no bounds. Seems like it's abundant in separatist land. Nature will work it's magic here.

Whenever a Government says something is temporary you know they really mean it's permanent.
1
Canada doesn't need them. Immigration is not an obligation. Right now actual Canadians need to be taken care of. We don't need new leeches that just want to use this country as a money source.
1
It's no secret they cut corners. I mean Hyundai/Kia offer a lot of features for the money so to keep profitable and competitive they have to cut corners elsewhere like safety and quality. Honda, Toyota and the German manufacturers never have these issues.
1
What does that have to do with anything? Plenty of normal city people. Plenty of normal rural people too. Don't let a few quacks change your perception of people in general. It's your own ignorance that will prevent you from seeing that.
1
@dylanc9174 Okay so present an alternative? Would you propose we use trains that are way too expensive and inefficient? Let me guess, you're probably okay with 500k people coming per year but what happens when they need to move about when there are no roads to do so?
1
Way too many plane crashes as of recent. All in the name of distracting people from what's really going on huh?
1
Yeah all these fires are suspicious to me. Either insurance scam or businesses are slowly being purposely targeted to transfer power and market cap to only the big corporations.
1
The issue is that despite what the Lib government claims they want to do it never materializes the way they say it will. Funny how money goes towards developing foreign infrastructure but never to Canada where the money came from.
1
Oh give me a break. The public (well the non liberal members of the public) isn't going to buy that crap. Taxing fuel or transportation means the price of everything will go up and once again the middle class and working poor will take another blow to their money which is already being stretched way too thin.
1
Not only do we pay more in taxes because of the carbon tax itself but we pay more for everything else as it will now cost companies more to ship goods to the people and they will raise their costs to us to offset the hit they take from the carbon tax. Taxing anything energy related means the people lose out and it's merely for the gubbyment to fund their silly pet projects to give money to other countries.
1
But why did they lose propulsion? Why was the ship not maintained? Also, how did it conveniently happen where the bridge support was? Why was the ship not heading towards the center of the bridge passthrough? Do realize that people died in this.
