  1. Hahaha these comments are ridiculous. OF COURSE this is scripted. They want asses in the seats and PPV buys. Everyone here is getting so technical with their analyses and are actually getting into arguments to defend their position. Calm down, this will be a fun build up and fight. The fans are getting entertainment and Brock and DC are getting paid the big bucks. They’ve sacrificed a lot in their respective fields. It’s about time they reap the rewards.

  4. It was the greatest KO nobody saw live because of some fuckwit at FS1. This might be the last fight of Matt Brown’s career and at the exact second he threw that elbow things went screwy. Fuck FS1 for stuffing such a great moment. Great night of fights but honestly I was so livid after this technical difficulty it took me a bit to focus in on The Porier/Pettis fight which was insane.

  14. Why are they booing it's not Rousey's fault the fight was stopped a tad early though she would have won anyway. She fought a very smart fight and did what she said she would. Herb Dean must have smoked up before heading to UFC 170 because he let the Mike Pyle fight go on too long and stopped this one too early even though the outcome was inevitable. Also, Sara McMann is tough as nails and she will come back stronger.

  15. Arlovski needs to Travis Browne Francis. That was a wicked fight and Arlovski has overcome hardship during his career. I'm sure he'll do it again.

  18. I was literally screaming at my TV for the ref to stop the fight. Too much favoritism going on with these damn refs. The ref in the Henderson vs. Mousasi fight stopped it way too early and the ref in this fight let it go way too long. Rumble is a total beast and a classy individual. Much respect to him and I can see him knocking a hole in Jones' head.

  22. Dana and whoever thinks a rematch is in short order are absolute morons. If the fight ended in a controversial stoppage or close decision sure there can be a rematch but in this case Holly took Ronda to a level she's never been before. Ronda acted horribly before the fight, didn't touch gloves, punched Holly after the bell sounded at the end of round 1 and never stuck around for the post fight interview or conference. That's sore loser material right there and I bet Uncle Dana won't show Holly the respect she deserves because his money maker Ronda got beat up.

  25. Despite some cringe factor throughout Luke’s career he did dominate for years and still fought through the rough patches and that’s commendable. He was gassed in the first round but didn’t give up and kept throwing bombs. This was a blood and guts old school brawl. Best of luck in his future endeavors. He’s a legend.

  26. Melvin Mahoef either KOs his opponents viciously or gets KO'd viciously but he always gives it 100% and just YOLOs it every time. Robbie is also a vicious fighter as evidenced here and his title run in the UFC a few years later.

  27. You have to blame Cerrone partly for his low payout. He keeps taking fights and saying he will fight for free or for a lower payout (especially against Conor McGregor) so he's devaluing himself. Nate was right, negotiate payouts and ask for more because after all don't ask don't receive. He does deserve more though, that was one of his best fights last night.

  28. People didn't listen to me when I said this match up was a bad idea. You take 2 fighters that have resurrected their careers and put them in a fight? I knew they were going to be overly cautious when fighting. Neither of them were happy they had to fight each other and there were plenty of other opponents for both of them. To everybody who thought this fight would be intense are you here to eat your words now?

  31. +tal lifschitz Yeah Bisping won because he was the more active fighter. He kept Silva backed up and knocked him silly a few times. Silva had everything in him to win but he, like in the Weidman fight, clowned too much. About that flying knee though, if it happened about 10 seconds earlier the fight would have ended there. Hats off to Bisping though.

  34. What fight were you watching? DC kept up an insane pace in the first 3 rounds despite not being as diverse and hit Jones with a ton of strikes. Jones didn't defend himself too well against DC's strikes but his takedown defense was top notch for the most part. DC brought the fight, it was just JJ's insane reach (despite the fact that DC is known for fighting tall opponents), takedown defense and better cardio which showed in the championship rounds that helped him win. Both these guys trained their asses off and it showed.

  42. Yep. By lowballing the fight purses the already low payouts (with the exception of a few) will become lower. It's not helped by the Reebok deal either. It also devalues the fighter in the fight and other fighters.

  46. Only Carlos truly knows but I feel he has a ton of fight left in him. Yes, he lost to Robbie but he did a fantastic job and if he fights guys like Matt Brown, Jake Elleberger or Neil Magny he'd do a great job. It's amazing how fight years differs from actual age. Guys like Jake Ellenberger seem worn out yet guys like Dan Henderson are still kicking ass at 45.

  47. I'm happy for Mir. I've always been a fan of his and the fact he came back from such a nasty injury to not only fight but to win a championship title again is such a great story. His calm demeanor when entering fights is amazing, just a normal day at the office.

  48. Can't think of one person that dislikes Hunt. Fighting all of these years and still kicking ass. I'm glad he won that fight with Chris Tuchscherer because it was that one punch that help Hunt resurrect his career and put on a ton of great shows for the fans.
