  1. They can try to jump on Khabib as much as they want but Dana, the marketing department and Conor all have a hand in what happened last night post fight. Don't forget the fact that Conor has assaulted a referee, threw cans and bottles at Nate Diaz, vandalized a bus which hurt several innocent fighters. Conor (as entertaining as he can be both in and out of the octagon) went too far trashing Khabib's religion, country, family and friends and he finally ate his words last night. While Khabib could have taken the high road and basked in Conor's humiliation after the fight this was emotionally charged and given the conditions and culture Khabib grew up in (not that I agree with what happens in Dagestan) he was going to take all that was said personally. At the very least Khabib went after Conor's team and no innocent people were hurt. If Conor can get off practically scot free then so should Khabib. I don't think he will but if Khabib is severely punished then it goes to show that favoritism and privilege is alive and well when it shouldn't be.
