  1. Always remember, the people on the Internet complaining (about anything) are not the same people that are WORKING to make the world better. For example, if the students that say they "study" 10 hours a day are using some of that time to browse social media (like YouTube) then they are NOT studying. Being busy and being productive are NOT the same. YouTube keeps you busy. It can be entertaining. It isn't productive. Watching is not the same as DOING. Similarly, I take all of Takashii's interviews with a grain of salt. Japanese will ALWAYS take the tatemae path during an interview. Asking someone if they like their school (the school they are attending NOW) and expecting anything BUT a "happy" answer is naive. (^.-) Japan is great. The future is great. HOW TO MAKE IT BETTER requires actions other than watching YouTube videos.
