  1. Perhaps the shortage of wood is true in larger cities, but I just got a couple square meters of wood delivered today. I live in northern Bavaria. I live, however, in a rural area. This doesn't mean that people are generally having to tighten up their budgets, but it's not falling apart yet. But, if the greens win again, this could mean real poverty for many who live in the lower income brackets. If one lives in Germany, it's not as dramatic as it is portrayed here.
