What are u talking about???😂 Richmond is still up there as one of America’s most dangerous cities. 2016-2021 Richmond has been ranked in the top 10s and 20s. 2016 was the closest they been to top 5 since the 80s, 90s and 00s. Richmond has been close with DC just like back in the day and last year they passed DC and NYC and was on the verge on catching up with Philly and Chicago with 90+ bodies so idk how y’all think that’s safe. Y’all don’t have an idea what safe wanna know? Go to Stafford Virginia or Rosslyn where there’s barely any crime

  5. Gentrification is a major problem for black ppl in Virginia. Alexandria used to be one of the most blackest cities in Virginia and dc Metropolitan at 55% now its 21%. Richmond used to be 65% making it the most blackest city in VA now 50% but blacks are still the majority in Richmond Fun fact the movie remember the titans takes place in Alexandria and Richmond is the original black wall street before Durham and Tulsa

Lynchburg has never been known to be dangerous or have one of the highest murder increase in the state at ALL lol. Richmond was ranked 11th most a dangerous city in the country two spots ahead of dc in 2021. 2016 Richmond was 6th one spot away from top 5 and the last time Richmond was top 5 was the early 2000s.

All you doing is taking the amount of homicides from each town/city in PG and adding together. That’s why you’re wrong. No city or town in Maryland compares to Baltimore there’s a reason why they’re always on the most dangerous cities list almost every year and no city in PG is ever on the list. You have a better chance of surviving in PG county than you do in Baltimore. I can say that the nova area has about 30-40 homicides this year that’s about the same amount the city of Newport News VA average but is nova just as dangerous as Newport News? Hell no all the statistics did was collect each homicides from each city/towns and added them together. Name one city/town in pg county that’s put up 50+ homicides or 100+ homicides. I’ll wait

Counties consist of multiple towns and small cities that aren’t independent. If that were the case PG county would’ve been on the most dangerous cities in the country by murder rates list. Church Hill ain’t even that dangerous as it used to be considering the fact it’s partially gentrified like yeah I still have shootings over there and some bodies but not like in the past. South Side Richmond is where majority of the cities homicides comes from and it’s literally the rundown part of the city has been like that since Richmond was #1 murder capital of the country. church hill has some rundown spots but it’s getting remodeled.

Richmond already has 45 on the year Lynchburg barely averages 10 and last year they had 8 murders and this year they have 5 so where’s the increase? Even in 2022 Richmond they updated the most dangerous cities list Richmond is bumped up to 10th with 95 homicides bumping the murder rate from 23.84 to 42.75

Church Hill is not that dangerous it used to be look at the matter of fact the whole east end used to have 34 homicides just like North Side while the South side had 70. How? Cause South Side is the biggest area in the city any old head will tell you the most dangerous hoods are on the south side and how Blackwell was the most dangerous and notorious hood in all of the 804 before getting torn down even with those torn down South Side still puts up most of the cites homicides. You’re more likely to get robbed by gun point on the south side unlike east end and north side you’re definitely getting your car jacked
