@katshades You civilians always believe you are smarter than you really are. There are threat assessment levels for police officers just as there are "Rules of engagement " for the military. To jump to a higher level beyond the actual threat, is to escalate.

I find it difficult that the good doctor doesn't subscribe to a higher power. His explanation of god in tribal sense is a bit shallow in my view. God, in the religious sense, is also very childish. @godlyvex5543 I have had many transcendent experiences and WITHOUT drugs or psychedelic, and I know that it is VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE to try to explain that to someone who hasn't had such experiences. So I see how spiritual teachers from the past, how their teachings got heavily distorted. When we wake up from our normal dream state, we can see the difference between the two. Similarly when one awake from this so-called awake state, there's a great difference.
