  1. I’m not religious so it’s probably not my place to say this but honestly this overly complicated hypothetical hermeneutics is a really bad idea. If you want to genuinely understand a text always interpret based on the most reasonable likely direct possible way even if it leads you to uncomfortable places otherwise you’re really just fitting your agenda onto it rather then creating your agenda based on it
