  15.  @registeredjopper  scientists are human beings. Human beings with biases opinions and prejudices who make mistakes. Science is a methodology that far from perfect is the best we’ve ever gotten to understand the objective reality that surrounds us. I trust the scientific method used by hawking to explain blackholes but I don’t trust his doomed predictions of the world economy because those are just one man’s opinions on a subject he’s not even an expert in. Scientists aren’t defined by their study they are full humans and most of what they do is unrelated to that work and even what is related to that work is often incomplete or wrong not because the methodology is wrong but human error in applying it
