  1. Why people don't get into account time? We expect alien ships on Earth. But why? Why do we think aliens are thousands years ahead of us? They need to reach interstellar age, find Earth and then reach it. We started to use radio waves just a hundred years ago. We reached the nearest space less than a hundred years ago. We didn't reach any planet by ourselves yet. Only our machines. But we discussing why we don't see aliens. Earth is 26 670 light-years from the center of our galaxy. Which means if any civilization in the center reached our level of technology 25 000 years ago, we still can't detect their presence. Should they colonize other planets? Maybe they already do it. Maybe they just reached radio era (which means we will not detect any radio waves from them for the next 26 670 years). Should they reach us? Maybe traveling faster than light is not so easy as movies show to us. Maybe they don't even know we are existing. Because our first radio signals are just hundred light-years away from us. Still need 26 570 years to reach the center. What if aliens live on the other side of our galaxy? We are too selfish I think.
