So, a program will be a web page? What about developing mobile browser for Android, that can read packages and do almost the same? Yes, it will require more resources on a phone to run this browser+package, than to run an usual app, I think. But it will achieve SDK-free web-app concept. You just need to describe package format, but it shouldn't be hard. But for me as for user, I don't see any advantages in SDK-free concept at all. And Android SDK is completely free, what's the problem? Google Play fees? But how do they suppose to distribute web-packages? It will be Mozilla (or what ever) Play or many small John's Plays and Mary's Plays. This brings another question - security. As you can see, I can't get the idea of this SDK-free web-apps. Too many problems and mysterious advantages for end-users. And it needs too much time to develop enough apps to get significant market. Like Linux vs Windows. I can get any application for Win, why do I need to restrict myself with Linux for personal usage? But maybe I'm wrong and blind and it will be ground-breaking tech.
