A question, didn't the US try to carry out a coup in Turkey about 6 or 7 years ago in Turkey and it was only through the Russians warning Erdogan what was happening that he managed to save himself and stop it? If true it would make Erdogan very wary of them and the US even more desperate to have another go to achieve their objective of regime change. This could destroy modern Turkey as we know it if there gets to be a civil war within the country.
