From what I understand he sold out the assets of Russia and other soviet countries to the western carpetbaggers who fully exploited their positions to access manufacturing and natural resources to the detriment of the people whomsuffered badly. The only plus I can see is that he set Russia on the path to where it is today, able to assert its own purpose in the world and I think history will show that as being very important for a multipolar world.

  3. Imho I don't think it would have brought us peace, America doesn't work that way. Imagine if the US had been successful with its coup in Turkiye and then got its hands on Sebastopol and put a fleet in there, they would've controlled the Black Sea and do you think they would just stop there? History has shown that they would've kept going and poking the Bear, so what would the Bear have done to defend itself, nuclear retaliation? That wouldn't end well. Remember that the pentagon before this SMO started, had released a tender document to interested contractors, for the reconstruction of Sebastopol, they evidently felt that when Ukraine attacked Donbass in March of this year they would take Crimea as well.
