It is important to understand that the green agenda is not about being green, it is about taking control of everything that the EU citizens do and they really want the plebs to remain in their own place, not to travel, while the wealthy can afford the expensive electric cars and jets. Cheap Chinese EVs negate that strategy hence the comments and threat of controls. This is how feudal systems were run in the past, so much for EU development.
