  2. It is an old expression and has been used used in a valid way, doesn't mean to say that what was said was true. In PR in order to create a narrative for the sheeple they pick a few key words and then push them for all they are worth to create an image that doesn't exist. If they can get the stupidity into the minds of these people it means it fills the space before they start thinking about it, which means they accept the message. Standard MO
