@nakshatraroy7442 I dunno, look at the people of Maruipol, if they had the opportunity they would have strung up those soldiers that came out of the steelworks, the DNA protected them. The same for the people of Odessa, what these neos did there was terrible and so when Russia gets there there will be some serious payback. Remember that these brave neos have been happily shelling civilians in their villages for 8 years and killed some 14,000 people, they are not viewed favourably by the citizenry. When you look at Vietnam when the North entered there you would have thought, based on the propaganda of the time, that they wouldn't be welcome and a counter insurgency would develop, whereas nothing of the sort happened. That's because the locals were fed up with the corruption in the south engendered by their leaders and the septics. When Rome fell it was the middle classes that opened the gates to the invaders on the basis that they wanted the corrupt senate gone and given what they had suffered from the corruption, the invaders couldn't be any worse. And such proved to be the case. I think you will see the same here when the corruption that is currently rife in Ukraine, and affected the general population the most, is stopped, most will give their support to the new system.

Not so, tne local population are in support of Russia after having been mistreated by Ukraine's military as well as the rampant corruption that they have experienced. Thus there will be no support for any insurgency, the situation is very different from the other conflicts that septics started.

@Kiril Docevski This is not septicland running this conflict, it is Russia, and they have no intention of 'leveling' everything to the ground, it is counterproductive. If they were going to do that Kiev would already have been flattened. All you do when you flatten a place is create more problems for yourself as the septics found fighting in Italy in WWII at Monte Cassino, pissed everybody else off big time. Think strategically.

@nakshatraroy7442 Yes this group has been known for quite some time now but their influence is not that great. They are like the neocns in septicland, lots of bark but at this stage, little bite. Total war at this stage would be self defeating and counterproductive, they do not appreciate the intricacies associated with the pursuit of modern warefare, it is very definitely not black and white. Generally the Russian population support Putin, 81% behind him I believe, and the lower the casualty rate for Russian troops the better.

@SanMikeva There will be some areas that like Crimea and the Donbass that want to be part of Russia and indications are that some areas are already heading in that direction. Others with perhaps a more Ukrainian than Russian outlook may look to keep their areas and that will be acceptable with the caveat no corruption, no nato, no septics and neutral status. Problem solved. This is what should have happened years ago but the septics and poms kept blocking a peaceful solution because rhey did not want peace.

@nakshatraroy7442 It's not just Russia, whilst they've managed to whip into line a lot of western countries, they forget about south and central America, India, Indonesia, China, many influential countries in the middle east, large numbers of key African countries. So, they are not alone and a lot of these countries are not that well disposed towards the septics, poms and some other western countries. Russia knows that the septics want to do a number on them, break them up into 4 parts and take all their natural resouces, afterwards moving on to China, then India perhaps! This intent is clearly laid out in public document. So if you are Russia and China what do you do to this existential threat, roll over and let it happen, I 5hink not. Remember these other countries can quite easily operate without western hegemony and are pushing in that direction, that's what this is all qbout, power and money and Russia sure as hell ain't going to give up. Just one of their multi head nukes can wipe out the Iberian peninsula and this time the septics will get a taste of war on their doorstep. Do they want this? Not all straight forward is it!

@nakshatraroy7442 There is no 'rules based international system' its a fake term that the septics thought up and use to fudge things. If they want something a certain way they cite it to make it alomost appear legitimate, in reality what there is is an international legal system, which is completely different and relies on the rule of laws. The septics don't like them so they spout their own rubbish, so I would suggest that you should be very wary when you hear that term and think about what it really means. In terms of rule of law I understand your concern and it would appear that Russia and China are pretty bad, however again be very careful of the propaganda that has been pushed with this, how true is it? If you listen to guys like Scott Ritter who lived in Russia for many years he will tell you that the Russians and Russia are very different from what you are being told. As for the fairness of the legal system, just think of Julian Assange and look at how they have been persecuting him a journalist who told us many of the dirty secrets that the septics had been doing, or perhaps Snowden who now lives in Russia, must be a bad palce, after he revealed all of the shenanigans that the septic govt gets up to. With neighbours and other sovereign countries, how many place have the septics interefered in? We know of the Ukraine in 2014, vicki nuland said it cost them $5 billion to overthrow a democratically elected govt, or perhaps more recently the coup in Pakistan when they ousted Khan, or perhaps the completely illegal sanctions on Venezuela because they wouldn't tow the line and the oil shipments that they stole from them on the high seas and sold, taking their money. Libya and its gold come to mind as well, invasion of Cuba, etc, etc In all its years, what is it 280 odd, the septics have evidently only not been making war and overthrowing a country for some 21 years. How many have Russia and China?

@nakshatraroy7442 Disagree, septics annexed Hawaii, Puerto Rico, tried unsuccessfully to invade Cuba in the Bay of Pigs, etc etc. You ignored the other facts I put to you on their ongoing aggression in the world, there is a very long list of them. What about Assange etc? The world is a very different place than 1940. The septics did not do the Lend Lease out of the goodness of their hearts, they made an awful lot of money out of it, nearly bankrupted England who only finished paying it off some 20 years ago. My perspective on all of this is that none of them are white like the driven snow and I never trust bullying countries whoever they are. What I am saying is that perhaps you are taking too much of a narrow view and you need to peel back the layers of the onion to see what is really going on.
