There's a couple of issues here
1. she said "She began engaging in addictive and problematic use of Instagram and Snapchat." Which points at her daughter's usage, which now will be fodder for the court to use, to see what she was doing, including but not limited to if she was the problematic part to someone else.
2. When I tried to take it from her "Tried" What does that mean tried to take it from 14 year old...
3. "She gets physical with me." Meaning she assaulted you, and you did not report her for her actions?
4. You want them to regulate a product, moreso, that you want even regulate for your daughter...admitting to letting her continuing to use a product that you felt was unsafe, because she got mad at you.
5. Children don't have the reasoning capability that adults do, which is why you don't give them a smart phone if they are not ready for that.
6. She can't say she regulated it at much as she could, because she paid the bill, she provided the internet, and didn't cut it off?
True Story: My mom told me to come to dinner, I said I was busy on my phone, I'll be down in a few minutes...A few minutes later my phone stopped working. It stopped working for 2 weeks...let's just say I was never busy...again.
