How I also know his statement is not founded in actuality is the fact that the government constantly spies on people, many times invading their privacy, and constitutional rights because of thoughts they have expressed, or because they thought, they could blame them for something. Let's look at the Black Panthers, an organization, that was attacked by the government, and labeled a terrorist organization, because of an ideology that the government didn't like. An ideology that was about self defense, anti-racism, and exercising your 2nd amendment rights at Black citizens...but the government didn't like that at all, to the point that the Mulford Act was passed, repealing the law that allowed public carrying of loaded firearms with the EXPLICIT purpose of and goal of disarming the Black Panther Party. The all well and fun until the rabbit's got the gun bill. Sidenote: You know who also loved the idea of Gun control...The National Rifle Association...when The Black Panthers had the weapons.
