Except most people would have been more interested (ratings) in possibly saving hundreds of people trying to pursue a better existence of life, versus 5 people who already died whom were so bored and so safe that they went into the ocean on a tonka toy for no reason, but because they were 5 rich people, I presume the navy decided to keep the explosion to themselves and go through all that for nothing. All that time, All that energy, All that false hope, when they were already dead 2 hours after they left.
