Doesn't matter what your background or experience is as long as you're able to highlight the key points I outlined!

Don't sell yourself short!

Great advice and all so very true!

Machine learning probably requires quite a bit of technical knowledge. If you have the knowledge, following the pointers to highlight it should give you a good chance to get noticed!

Any position you find passion in Tesla will be perfect for you. Tesla hires a ton of vets and these folks generally fit in super well because of the pace of work and how quickly you have to adapt. Thank you for your service and best of luck!

Best of luck! Glad it's helpful!

Boom!

Exercise is very important and getting as much sleep as humanly possible. Hardcore caffeine intake ended up being counter productive for me, so focusing on fitness and sleep worked great for me.

Good luck!!

Depends on what you want to get into - if you like faster paced, more innovative (but much harder and potentially longer hours) then star-ups are the way to go. If you don't want that, big company.

Same advice - interns are hired the same away as everyone else and are expected to perform at the same level.

Fair point but I do think this approach can work across multiple fields. If it gives you a good chance to get a job at a company that hires the best, then it should give you a significantly higher chance to get a job everywhere else.

Your best bet is going through their careers page!

This is a good question - I would apply to the one you feel most qualified/most interested in. Tesla generally does a good job finding candidates across positions (ie we've had people apply for one position that get hired for a different one).

I'll be doing a 2022 prediction based on Q4 deliveries. Should be out Tuesday/Wednesday

Business casual is always a good idea! Questions can be very different from team to team, but my advice remains.

Yes, that would be a great way of doing it. Usability seems like a huge metric for UX. By how much did your improvements increase the userbase? Usage time? I'm not a UX expert but that seems like a good way to measure success.

Nothing stops anyone from anything, besides themselves :)

If there's nothing on the most recent experience that would highlight the ability to work in fast paced environments, under pressure, etc., then list the job that shows that experience first. In general I've found that any position can be crafted to highlight your greatest strengths that matches what an employer looks like.

They have room for everyone!

You can be broad about it for sure - generally your portion of the contribution won’t really get you in trouble.

Wish I could answer that question :)

Tough to know unless you try!
