  2. I doubt it can match the off-road performance of any of those German rivals.  It doesn't have any systems that they don't have also. I don't really understand why people think Jeep is the king of off-road, when according to any recent tests out there, it simply isn't...this is not that little army Jeep you know, it's just a family SUV.  I know from personal experience that the Jeep Grand Cherokee (2012) is nowhere near as good off-road as the VW Touraeg, and that's not exactly known for off-roading capabilities. I would give me both arms and legs if this can match an Audi Q5 or BMW X3 in off-road performance. It can't even come close on road (and that's what it's made for, don't think for a second that they've put off-roading ahead of on-road performance when developing these cars), which means that chassis is no where near good enough to compete with German rivals, so why the heck would it do better off-road when both Audi and BMW have better AWD systems and far better chassis? On top of that, they have far better engines. Again, don't understand why people put Jeep so high up when it comes to off-roading. Any Range Rover or Land Rover will run circles around it.

  3. Going from an Audi or BMW to a Jeep is a clear drop in quality. I mean, the interior doesn't have nearly the materials quality, build quality, attention to detail....it simply feels cheaper in every way, it's not designed with nearly as much depth, thought, care, whatever you wanna call it.  And it can only dream of the feeling of solidity that you get in German cars where everything feels like you can hit it  with a hammer and break the hammer.
