Interpol is only relevant if the person has committed an "international" crime. In this case, Duterte has not committed any "international" crime.

this ? On May 12, 1996, on a 60 Minutes segment . "We've heard that a half-a-milion children have died in [Iraq due to sanctions following the 1991 Gulf War]. And that's more children than that died in Hiroshima. And..and... you know...is the price worth it?" Albright: "I think it's a very hard choice, but we think, we think the price is worth it." Still blows my mind how the American govt and vassal can criticize any country while they still have these same people walking around in office to this day.

@ he "escape abroad" , where Duterte still in PH, should go through the local system. Read Article 59.

@ Article 59 Arrest proceedings in the custodial State 1. A State Party which has received a request for provisional arrest or for arrest and surrender shall immediately take steps to arrest the person in question in accordance with its laws and the provisions of Part 9. 2. A person arrested shall be brought promptly before the competent judicial authority in the custodial State which shall determine, in accordance with the law of that State, that: (a) The warrant applies to that person; (b) The person has been arrested in accordance with the proper process; and (c) The person’s rights have been respected. PNP leaded by GEN. TORRE DID NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES!!!! Duterte was not presented to "Custodial State" after being captured instead he was brought to "Villamor AirBase" to be detained!!!! They did not even let him to be with his Attorney!!! THIS IS DEFINITELY AN UNLAWFUL ARREST!!! ILLEGAL DETENTION AND KIDNAPPING!!

“Legally, you cannot send out someone sought in a criminal procedure abroad without an extradition treaty,”

“It’s not as if he’s traveled to somewhere else and they’ve grabbed him there,” said Sarah Williams, an international criminal law professor at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. She added that Mr. Duterte’s own country had arrested him when it could have argued it had no obligation to do so. “It does suggest there’s quite serious domestic politics at play,” she said.
