  1. Not sure where Dr Campbell is getting his demographic information but in NY state, blacks comprise over 15% of the population and if you look at just the metro NYC area they are more than 25%. These figures are from the US Census. Considering that the majority of cases and fatalities are occurring in the NYC metro area, blacks are UNDER represented. Non-Hispanic whites on the other hand comprise less than 33% of the metro NYC population.
