I think I saw a video last night of a dozen of the soldiers from the 30th Mech where they refused to man positions and the officers and NCOs were arguing amongst themselves saying they had a dozen or two dozen men left in each of their companies (normally 90-120 men) and they had no support and were almost out of supplies, including food. The men were all tired to exhaustion.

  3.  @Joaquin546  The videos I've seen of 'Russian' troops in that situation were actually DPR and LPR soldiers. You do realize they are separate forces from actual Russian Army, right? That is probably why they reoriented in the summer to bring everyone under one consolidated command.
