Modern pickups, yeah. Then you go to a whole other level with that abortion that is the Cyber 'Truck'.

The major problem with all the minivans with the exception of the Chevy Astro/GMC Safari is that their transmissions are weak car based transmissions/transaxles which causes failures when trying to tow anything. Outside of that, they are really practical.

@gregorymalchuk272 No, de-industrialization cleaned up the air. America has lost the majority of it's heavy industrial capacity since 1970 and exported it to places like China.

Everyone knows and loves popup headlights. Knowing, most likely but loves, definitely not. I always thought they were gimmicky and cheesy.

@blueduck9409 They aren't designed or capable of handling the constant high torque required for towing no matter how often they are serviced. The manufacturers know this which is why they set a very restricted limit on towing capacity. Example: My 2006 Ford E350 weighs less than 6000lbs but can tow more than 7000lbs while my 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan weighs 2800lbs but can't even tow 2000lbs

The Fiat Multipla screams "I AM FRENCH!!!" even though it's from an Italian car company.

Early '50s styling with late '80s/early '90s suspension & drive-train FTW. Example: 1950 Ford 2 door sedan with a 4.9L (300 CI) straight 6 with a 5 speed manual RWD.

Who/what killed the EV1? Government mandates. I guess when one of the richest men on the planet talks about building an affordable car you get Teslas. 🙄 As for styling, the Cybertruck is 100% Musk. At least all of them have been recalled so our eyes can quit bleeding for a time. 🤣

Ford completely failed in not bringing back a retro Pinto. They could even make it electric using cheap Chinese LiPo batteries so it'd be just as dangerous as the original.... 😜

For me the C1 ('56-'57) was the best Corvette made, style-wise.

None of his honorable mentions are ugly.... The only thing really wrong/off about the Nissan Juke is the position/integration of the headlights and front turn signals.

@gregorymalchuk272 So now you move the goal post. Only include vehicle emissions and you'll see that you are the one who is spreading misinformation. Industry accounted for over 80% of emissions in the '70s. Vehicles were less than 10%. But keep spouting the BS narrative.
1
@ In the 1970's that is exactly how it was. Back when the US was the world's largest steel producer and had the most coal fired power plants in the world. Maybe if you'd look at actual data and not BS narrative talking points, you'd not be a moron. Even today, cars and trucks only comprise 22.4%.

It's really getting old hearing YT'ers malign the Ford Pinto which shows they don't know what they're talking about and are just repeating common talking points which aren't based on facts. The rear end collision issue started long before the Pinto was even considered. A 1968 Ford Galaxie had EXACTLY the same issue when hit from behind, ie it turned into a fireball. The only real problems with the Pinto were poor build quality, not the design, and the need to design around Government regulations in 'safety' and emissions standards. This is from someone who actually owned multiple Pintos.

Any greatest cars list that doesn't feature the first generation Fiat Topolino and the Ford Pinto gets a TD. 😜

I had a talking car from the '80's. Unfortunately, I was the only one that could hear it..... 😜

If you need to keep an eye out for what's behind you, you aren't driving fast enough. 😜
