  12. I live in super hot Florida, I stopped taking my car to the dealer cause they only had the 0W20 oil and not the 5W30 the car calls for, so I think the 0 oil is too thin for this heat.

  22. You said it perfectly clear: "Oil is cheap, engines are not" Get the very best oil you can for your particular application, my car has 175k miles, so I use high mileage synthetic and a quality filter every 5,000 miles. no exceptions.

  25. From experience, I can tell you it depends where you live, how you drive and how much are you willing to spend on maintenance. I've had cars that I had to get rid of after just 60k miles and I've had one with over 400k miles and one with over 220k miles.
