  1. I had a '98 Corolla which had to have a used engine put in after 200k miles due to oil burning and a broken rod, the replacement motor was fine till began to also burn oil after 100k miles. One day it ran out of oil and that engine also died. Then I got a Yaris and now approaching 200k miles and no issues with that motor.
